"Modelling the vegetation dynamics of northern peatlands with implications for biogeochemistry under a changing climate" (2015-2022) was funded by the Academy of Finland with Prof. Eeva-Stiina Tuittila as principle investigator. I completed my doctoral research in this project where I focussed on peatland plant ecology and their photosynthetic response to a drying climate (2016-2024).
